What does Audio Playback mean on these headphones?

It sounds like it will constantly change the volume of whatever you're listening to, so that everything stays the same loudness. The point of it is to get rid of any sudden volume changes. I wouldn't use this feature for listening to music, but it might be handy for gaming, to soften any sudden loud sounds such as explosions or car crashes.
