Laptop fan loudness question?

This is a tough question as it can be either or. It depends on what fan they put in there. If they were to throw a cheap crap fan then yes it would probably run louder. But if it is built with a noise canceling mount then no it won't. Also a cooler pad will help keep your fan quieter as it will not need to run as hard. Good luck.
