Is it pretty much assumed by GOP insiders that Romney will get the Nomination?

As a Democrat, I like Romney. I'm not overly happy with Obama but I will never vote for a tea party member. I think Romney can get the disillusioned Democrat vote. The others ... no so much. So far I like Romney but only time will tell. I will vote for Obama if a tea party member becomes the GOP nomination (and so will a great many people).
