Is it normal to feel like you're losing your mind?

Nutrition as a MAJOR effect on our emotions! Are you eating healthy and taking a multivitamin daily? A deficiency in potassium, zinc, copper, iron, and vitamin B12 can cause depression. A deficiency in chromium and magnesium causes anxiety. You can always get your nutrition levels checked up by the doctor/nurse - they will take a blood test to see if you're lacking any of these.
