How many people mute as soon as commercials come on due to loudness tampering by media?

The current trend is to tamper with volume during recording of TV commercials so that even with smart sound applied in some TV's the volume increases so you notice and remember their product,the result how many people mute all commercials irregardless of importance of content,I.E. another media pretzel logic fumble.
