Mets SS Jose Reyes traded to Oakland Athletics for SP Gio Gonzalez, SS Cliff Pennington, and OF Michael Taylor?

Sounds like a bad trade for the A's to me. You're in the race and you want to trade 3 of your best prospects for a guy that will only be there for the rest of the year, and is injury prone to boot? Keeping your young, talented players means success for years to come, not just one. Makes no sense to me.
