How to remove a transmission bracket on 2004 durango 5.7 4x4?

vehicle is 2004 dodge durango hemi 5.7 4x4. My husband is replacing the engine and needs to get the transmission bracket off so he can get the bolts out of the drive plate. He has tried lifting the engine and everything but just can not get the bracket out of the way. please help if you know how to do this thanks
