Going to san francisco- any ideas where i should visit?

Taking a ferry to Tiberon or Sausalito for an afternoon in Marin, would be nice. Or if you want to get away for a little bit, you could go to the Hot Springs or the wineries up in Napa Valley. There's always Coit Tower, The Palace of Fine Arts, or the Science Museum in Golden Gate Park. I forget what it's official name is. A simple drive up or down the Coast Highway is a beautiful day trip. If you go south, you might pick up a cozy afternoon concert at Half Moon Bay, or drive a little further, and hit the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. It's a 2 hr. drive. There's a bunch of nude beaches all along the coast and some inland if you are so inclined. Great restaurants abound within and around The City. Some of the worst looking holes-in-the-walls are actually some of the best restaurants. There's never a shortage of things to do in the Bay Area. Just walking around the University of California Campus is rather pleasant, as well, or the Presidio in S.F. There are things to do for every size pocketbook, so come and have a great time. Don't forget to bring clothes to dress in layers. We're having very weird weather this year and it's unpredictable.
