Yesterday we had alot of thunder in our country and I saw a lighting bolt hitting something in the forest nearby, then I saw 4 sparks. 2 going to the right and 2 going to the left, dissapering in less than 1 second. What was it?

Off shore lifting equipment certificate?

Hope someone can please help. How does a lifting certificate for off shore differ from an on site insurance inspection certificate? I had a lifting company on site Today to carry out our 6 Monthly inspection on our lifting equipmnet (Slings, Eye-Bolts, Shackles Etc.) Prior to Today if i was ever shipping lifting gear off shore i would send a copy of the original certificate along with a copy of the 6 Monthly inspection certificate if the equipment had expired from the base certification date. But Today i was told the 6 Monthly inspection certificate was for use of the lifting gear On Site & On Site only if the equipment was being shipped off shore another inspection would have to be carried out & new certificate produced. Is this correct? how can the integrity of the lifting gear be deemed fit for purpose at my place of work yet need a diferent inspection, certificate for shipping to an oil platform.

Questions on a few rifles?

I am looking at getting a new .22 lr rifle. The models I have in mind are these. First off i was looking at a Marlin XT-22. It is a new rifle marlin just put out and I have not heard a lot about it. It is a bolt action. The next rifle I was considering was the time old Ruger 10-22. The final one I am looking at is a Henry lever action .22 model H001. I know the prices on all of these but any unbiased information you could give me on any of these regarding accuracy, actions, reliability, or customer service would be highly appreciated to help me make my choice. Computer Loud and I can't figure out why?

Ok my computer has been loud for like a month or two now. So I just cleaned it out like 3 or 4 days ago.. and I found a piece of plastic from my spray can i use to clean out the computer..And I found LOADS of Dust around my front fan. So I cleaned that pretty good. For the next 3 or 4 days my computer has been pretty quiet. Just a low noise. Now yesterday and today its been doing this crap where it starts off sort of quiet and then builds up in loudness and it like goes up and down like unsteadily loud noise, Its really annoying, and now its sort of quiet. What is the problem? I know its the front fan cause I can only hear it from the front. and when I tap the front right side of my computer it effects the fan's sound.. sometimes doing that makes it sound quiet again. What could be the problem?
